Back story of your character:
Thane was a rather regular dude, nothing really. He was a professional writer by age 18, having published 2 very successful books at ages 16 and 17 respectively. He was trying hard to work on a third book to please his fans when the first rumors of SAO hit the market. Thane had always been a serious gamer, if it wasn't writing it was gaming and things went back and forth like that. The moment the game hit beta Thane was all over that shit. He became a beta tester and excelled quickly, basically only taking time off to eat and write. Then, everyone became trapped in the game.

Weapon Of Choice: The Ravager Blade. Ravage uses the blade with his namesake. Within his skill set is to manipulate lightning, which can freely run through this blade. Aside form that, the sword is also large enough to be used as a makeshift shield as well. Its downside however is that it is quite slow.

Ravage tills his blade by the tip of the hilt, above his head once, and lets it drop down into the palm of his hand. He swings around behind himself, and suddenly rushes the enemy at high speed, slashing completely through them once. The slash is where the real power is, it's so fast the naked eye usually can't track it.

Flash Cry:
Ravage draws the blade directly up in front of him. Letting it slowly slide through his fingers until it is perpendicular to the ground, he slashes sideways and sheathes the blade. A few seconds later the enemy take 6 times the damage of a single blade slice.

Black Barrier:
Ravage stabs he blade into the ground, and reinforces it with his shoulder. At this point it would take a ton of force to get through the defense. However it only block frontal attacks.
